Okay the top picture is the grand foyer mid ship decks 5,6,7 and 8 I think, that globe rotates and was beautiful. The middle picture is Michelle and I on a tender boat (a.k.a lifeboat) going to Nanaimo, BC and the bottom picture is Michelle standing in front of one of the three elevator bays on the ship. So there it is. I'll try and keep you updated.

The Knights are #1!!!!

My chess team is number one on the team ladder out of 386 teams. I created the Knights of Caddy Last year on the 5th of October. Currently we have 58 team mates from all over the world. They are amazing! Our team logo was designed and created by one of my former team mates "Castlingcutie". Her husband started a team and she left us for him :(.
Since October of last year the knights have completed 5,058 games, which still boggles my mind.
I have to recognition programs for the team. The first and the oldest is the Knight of honor, I think I best describe this award on my team page so here it is "Voted, by the Knights of Caddy. One knight set apart and honored once a month for his/her dedication, loyalty, and team spirit toward our team". The award is a white knight key chain. We also have the Vangaurd of Caddy this is the team member with the most wins in a month. The pictures of these are above.
Go Knights!!!!!!

Blood clot
Well I get to go on the blood clot roller coaster again. Yesterday when I was doing my first delivery I felt an old familer pain, but it wasen't as intense as my original attack. The pain was in my left leg.
A lot of things go racing through your mind at the moment. Maybe it will just go away? it nothing, or maybe I hit my leg just right and it's just now starting to hurt? or maybe its a blood clot?. I was a little scared, I was thinking about my family, my work, and the thought of another clot. I had a strong prompting that told me I needed to go to the hospital soon. I finished my delivery and called work and told them I was going to the hospital. I brought my truck back to the terminal and took off.
I spent about 9 hours or so in the hospital. To my fear/relief they found a clot in my left leg above my ankle and below my calf. Right when the doctor told me that I have a clot my mind flashed back to the blood specialist telling me "if you ever get another clot again, you will have to be on thinners THE REST OF YOUR LIFE!", that is what is sounded like in my head at that moment.
The thinners aren't the bad part. The bad part is thinning your blood fast. That involes 1 to 2 weeks of shots to my stomach twice a day (done by yours truely) they really suck, and daily blood draws. That's a minimun of three needles a day (if the lab person does a good job the first time).
Once the blood lvl is where it needs to be, it's maintained with a certain mg of a blood thinner called coumadin (I'm pretty sure I spelt that wrong) and then it's once a month blood draws.
I'm am blessed, if this is the worst thing that happens in my life that would be amazing. There are millions of people that have even tougher challenges in there life, I am blessed to have a healthy loving family and amazing friends.
I hope this message finds all of you in good health and in good spirits. Maybe we can't choose the challenges that come our way, but we can choose how we face them. Stay postive no matter what life throws at you. It builds character ; )
